West Sussex

A sunny day, 15°, light WSW.

A day out to the coast today and a visit to a few old birding haunts in West Sussex, places I have not been to in probably 30 years.

They were Pagham Harbour, Church Norton and Selsey Bill. First visited this area back in the late 60’s and a few day trips in the 70’s and 80’s and do not think I’ve been back since.

A beautiful sunny day and some nice walks around the Pagham Harbour RSPB reserve incl the Church Norton area and Selsey Bill.

The highlight and unexpected species of the day was finding a Firecrest in the St Wilfrid’s cemetery at Church Norton………………………….the rest was basically expected.
